Mohawk River House

This new home on a spectacular view lot overlooking the Mohawk River had to be designed and built to fit within a strictly limited envelope so as to not obstruct views from other lots. Despite its limited height the design employs a strong profile of twinned New England Saltboxes to frame the view from the road. The front of the house uses traditional elements but the view side, facing the river, is modern and filled with glass.
